Research: Looking at Digipaks

I like this Digipak cover as Miley Cyrus is following convention and looking directly into camera. The fact she is showing her stomach adds a sense of voyeurism. I think the audience for this would be both male and female although, it would be more for girls. As well liking her music I think that the way in which Miley is positioned may persuade some people to buy it for example, the pouting and the way she holds her trousers.

Miley, here is dressed completely in leather this goes well with the name 'Can't be tamed' emphasising the voyeuristic style they have achieved.

I do not like this Digipak as I feel that it is too simplistic. On the other hand, this may be something that someone else loves.
I think that the crown is trying to represent something royal, or that who ever this belongs to they are quite important.
The heart with the two doves either side represent love and hope, but the fact that the heart is melting may suggest a lack of confidence. This cover suggests that the music focuses on heartbreak. Maybe meaning it has a slower sound.

I live this cover as its quite unusual compared to the ones I have previously looked at, like the way that Lily Allen is sat on top of the letters making her look small, this contrasts with the way she is positioned as the way she is stretching out makes it look as if she is trying to make her self look bigger.
I like the colours in this cover as they are subtle. They aren't too extreme and although they are bright, they lay nicely with each other.
This cover still follows convention as the singer is looking into the camera.
